How do I scan discharge papers?

From the home screen, tap Return from Clinic, then Take Picture or Scan. Capture each page — several pages are fine — and tebChart will show you what it found (medications, follow-ups, warning signs) for your review before anything is saved. You can also import a PDF, a portal screenshot, or pasted text.

How do I add a medication by scanning the bottle?

Go to the Medications tab, tap add, and choose Scan One Medication. Point the camera at the label. The free plan includes 10 scans a month; you can always add medications by typing, free, without limits.

My reminders aren’t showing up.

Check three things: (1) iOS Settings → Notifications → tebChart → Allow Notifications is on; (2) inside tebChart, the medication has Enable medication reminders turned on with at least one time; (3) a Focus mode isn’t hiding them — tebChart uses time-sensitive notifications, but those can be disabled per Focus. For medicines that must never be missed, turn on Loud alarm on that medication — it rings like an alarm clock, even on Silent.

How do I set up the ER card?

Open your profile → ER Card. It builds itself from your saved allergies, medications, conditions, and emergency contacts. You can show it on screen, copy it, or export a PDF to print for the fridge or a wallet.

How do I add my mother (or another family member)?

Tap your profile picture in the top corner → Add Patient. Each person gets their own complete chart. The free plan includes one full chart; Premium adds unlimited family members.

How do I back up or move my data?

Profile → File Cabinet → Backup. This creates a file you own — save it to Files, AirDrop it, or store it anywhere you trust. Restoring a backup is always free. Premium can also sync charts across your devices through your personal iCloud.

How do I manage or cancel Premium?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → tebChart. Cancelling keeps Premium until the period ends; your data is never locked behind the paywall — everything you saved stays accessible on the free plan.

Is my data private?

Yes — it never leaves your phone unless you share it or turn on your own iCloud sync. Read the privacy promise; it’s short and in plain English.

I found a bug. What should I tell you?

Email us with: your iPhone model, iOS version, the app version (Profile → App Options → Version and Updates), and what you tapped right before the problem. Screenshots help enormously. Never include medical details in a bug report — we don’t need them and don’t want them.
